The Terms and Conditions of a battlefield tour with Entente Cordiale Battlefields Tours are as follows:
A deposit of £200 for the tour (or full payment if booking within 6 weeks of departure) must accompany a completed booking form. The person signing the booking form authorises and is responsible for the booking on behalf of those included on the form. Final payment for the battlefields tour must be made 42 days before the tour departure date.
All prices quoted are not guaranteed, and Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours reserves the right to pass on any hotel or travel price increases before the date of departure. Customers will be notified in writing of any such increases.
Alteration/Cancel of Scheduled Programme by Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours.
Entente Cordiale Tours reserves the right to make minor adjustments to a battlefields tour itinerary for administrative reasons or in the interest of travelers. If prior to the tour departure Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours has to make a significant change owing to unforeseen circumstances to the battlefield tour departure, travel times, battlefield location, method of travel or hotel venue, you will be advised immediately and an alternative battlefield tour (subject to availability) or a refund in full will be offered. In the unlikely event that after departure Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours is unable to provide a significant proportion of the Tour package, suitable alternative arrangements will be made at no extra cost to you. If it is not possible to make suitable alternative arrangements, or they are not acceptable to you for good reasons, compensation will be made by Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours.
Transfer of Booking
If you are prevented from joining any batllefields tour, you may transfer the booking to another person or another tour (subject to availability) provided that Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours are informed before the tour departure and agree to the transfer. The transferer or transferee are jointly and severally liable to Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours for any outstanding payments.
Cancellation of Booking by You
If you are forced to cancel a booking, a verbal notice of cancellation must also be confirmed in writing to Entente Cordiale Battlefields Tours. Refunds of payments apply on receipt of written notification by you as follows;
More than 42 days (84 days on groups above 13 pax) – 100% refund.
41 to 31 days (83-73 days on groups above 13 pax) – 75% refund.
30 to 15 days (72-57 days on groups above 13 pax) – 50% refund.
14 days or less (56 days on groups above 13 pax) – no refund.
Travel insurance may meet any cancellation charges, subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions.
It is a condition of booking that all travelers are covered by comprehensive travel insurance and do not travel against medical advice. Most claims against travel insurance are for cancellation owing to illness etc. Details of the insurance arranged must be provided to Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours prior to the departure of your battlefields tour.
You are responsible for ensuring that all passports and any necessary visas are valid and effective.
Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours Responsibilities
Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours or their agents are responsible for the operation of the tour and the proper performance of all suppliers contracted to the tour package at the standard of service published.
Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours cannot be held liable for damage or additional expense to you as a result of unforeseen circumstances which could not have been avoided, even if all due care had been exercised, for example;
a) Any act personally attributed to you;
b) A third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for;
c) Circumstances relating to Force Majeure (war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire);
d) Alteration of timings by ferry company or airlines.
For the protection of customers, all payments received will be held in the company bank account.
