Entente Cordiale Battlefield Tours offers bespoke battlefield journeys arranged as a personal tour for families or small parties (4-8 persons) of friends or colleagues who prefer to travel independently rather than as part of a larger group.

Journeys can be planned, arranged and tailored around your party's requirements visiting places of special interest and locations off the beaten track where the hordes never go. Your guide will help you to interpret the landscape and look for signs of battle evidence today. Journeys are for 3, 4, 5 or 6 days within a friendly informal atmosphere, staying in quality accommodation and enjoying good food and hospitality.

Pick ups can be arranged from the following locations: Lille railway station (Eurostar), Brussels airport (from Manchester, Birmingham & London) or Brussels railway station (Eurostar), Albert airport on the Somme (from Leeds-Bradford), and either Dover or Calais ports. We don't pick up from locations in the UK other than Dover as our travellers seem to like to make their own arrangements with visits to places like London en route.

We will look after you, give you a memorable experience and hopefully you will recommend us, come back again and again, and keep the memory of The Great War alive forever. Our new for 2010 "In the footsteps" tours will suit those groups wanting an even more specilaised and personal tour. Walk in the footsteps of the Last Tommy, Harry Patch, on the battlefields of Ypres, or with the northern pals on the Somme, with the Canadians on Vimy Ridge and with the Australians at Fromelles!!
